The XD Team at Jimdo is responsible for ensuring a unified user‬ experience across all Jimdo products.‬

My Role: I ensure a unified experience of AI products by creating a‬ dedicated AI component library and AI branding guidelines‬

 

 

Jimdo, Hamburg — Productdesigner AI Exploration‬

 

Focused on discovering the possibilities and boundaries of AI within the‬ Jimdo product ecosystem.‬

My Role: As a product designer in a small team, I worked closely with the‬ product manager on the design of AI experiments and was responsible for‬ the UX and UI design.‬

 

 

Jimdo, Hamburg — Product Designer Financial Services

 

The FinServ Team was responsible for creating and developing a fintech product for Jimdo from scratch.

My Role: Product Designer - From the initial concept flows to the final designs, I was responsible for the UX and UI design of a new banking app that expands the Jimdo product portfolio for our customers.

 

 

Jimdo, Hamburg — Lead Designer Growth Team

 

The Growth Team was tasked with defining and leveraging a growth system for Jimdo, discovering customer problems to define strategic opportunities, and shaping experiments to discover growth potential.

My Role: Growth Designer - Initially, I focused on designing and owning experiments. Later, the focus shifted more towards exploring and validating strategic opportunities.

 

 

Jimdo, Hamburg — Lead Designer Conversion Lab

 

The Conversion Lab was a team focused on increasing conversion and  revenue of our core product, with a strong emphasis on pricing and packaging.

My Role: Generating ideas and creative ways to increase product conversion, delivering concepts for UX and UI.

 

 

Jimdo, Hamburg — Lead Designer & Team Lead

 

The Web Team was responsible for the creative direction, technical implementation, and further development of the technical infrastructure of Jimdo’s company and marketing pages.

My Role: Lead Designer and Team Lead of a small team of 5 colleagues.

 

 

Jimdo, Hamburg — User Interface Designer,  Design Team

 

In the early days of Jimdo, the design team was responsible for everything related to design, from branding and marketing to product design to print advertising material.

As part of this team, I was responsible for all design tasks that arose. Over time, a clear focus emerged for the checkout process and the Jimdo marketing homepage.

 

 

Lycos Europe, Gütersloh — Senior Interaction Designer

 

As Interaction Designer I was responsible for the UX and design of several new community products like Lycos iQ and Jubii Mail. Working closely together with the product managers I was able to contribute to planning and implementation of user testing in the early design process.

 

 

Lycos Europe, Gütersloh — Web Designer

 

In a small team of designers I was responsible for various  web design related tasks. Designing landing pages, ad formats and maintaining the design of various Lycos products, like the website builder, the chat, the mail product or the dating platform were part of my daily work.

 

 

Medienwerft, Hamburg — Internship web design

 

During the internship in the web design agency Medienwerft in Hamburg I was able to gain first practical experiences working on web design projects for clients like Baur, Otto, Hawesko or FC St. Pauli.

I completed the Media design degree program. This study program was a collaboration between Bielefeld University and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts and combined design and computer science.
